Originally wanted to use the same backpack for Taiwan but after packing the stuffs needed.. And found actually the one that i bought last month actually fits.. which initially intending to use it as daypack (i'm used to sling bags over the years but found them not comfortable enough for traveling the whole day..)
Coach tickets
I met the guys at Lavender MRT Station before taking a cab down to the coach station.. Coach left at 8.30am..
Yea.. This time is by coach! Let me see.. This is my 5th overseas.. My first to Batam, Indonesia which is by boat, second and fourth is Taiwan by planes and where third is Johor Bahru, Malaysia by car.. Hehe~
This is also the first time i went Malaysia via Tuas..
According to Hammie.. We will be reaching at around 1pm+.. The journey takes about 5 hours.. Longer than taking a plane to Taiwan but is MUCH comfortable as we took to budget airplane to Taiwan which the room for leg is limited where this coach has bigger room..

Chee Cheong Fun..
After we passed the Malaysia's custom, we are allowed to go for restroom break.. And after about 45 minutes later, the bus drove into a sort of canteen cum mart place.. Where we can buy some local products or have a snack or another restroom break.. =)

The chee cheong fan is alittle different from what i ate before in Singapore.. The texture and sauce are different and also they serve it with fried fish cake! After that i also bought the "Kaya Balls"! I missed it so much as its kinda of hard to find it nowadays in Singapore..
We actually reached Malacca at 3pm+ as there was a long jam after we left Singapore towards Malaysia's custom..
Before we reach the hotel.. We are so worried.. We already set our mindsets that the hotel is a pretty bad one according to the reviews over at traveladvisor.. But after we took a cab down to the hotel.. The hotel looks very beautiful from the exterior which we saw reviews saying not to be deceived by its exterior.. Once we stepped in, Lobby, Reception, Dining area look fine to us.. Still classy as the exterior.. Our rooms are at level one.. The is the first time i use a cardkey instead of normal key to enter the room.. Once i open the door..
WHOA! Dan was saying ITS LOOK OKAY! NOT AS BAD AS THE REVIEWS.. EVERYTHINGS ARE IN WORKING CONDITION..
We are also afraid that there wont be any television.. But it has one! But the channels are limited and some channels are not tuned properly or not well receive.. The toilet also has towels, floor mat, shampoo, body foam except tooth brush and paste.. But its already good enough for a double room that cost less than $70 per night on peak!
If you see carefully you will realloy find some little stains on the bedsheets but still not too bad as i think its just that they cant be washed away..
After we unpacked our stuffs.. we started to explore around!

After we self declare we need to get away from Mr SUN.. We decided to find a place to cool off the heat and get some mineral water.. And also its almost time for us to get back to the hotel as Hammie's Aunt and Grandparents last minute invited us to a Dinner so Mr Chia has to go back to wash up to see his future grandparents-in-law.. =X

But in this country where the weather is like summer.. They should have a mini fridge..
After dinner, we decided to the night is still young and decided to go to Famous Night Market - Jonker Street for a walk.. Again thanks to Hammie's Aunt who drove us to and fro..
The hotel also comes with complimentary breakfasts!
