As High Speed Rail is having a promotion and just nice the promotion hours is the the same arrival time we planned to be in Taipei (latest).. As i promised Dan if my salary increased SGD$75 i will treat him HSR.. Originally we planned to take train but the journery is about 5-6 hours via second class train if we need to be in Taipei by 1pm.. We need to get up by 5 or 6am to catch the train which cost about SGD$30! HSR is not very cheap.. Its cost NT1265 (non promotion price cost NT1490) which is about SGD$60 per adult during such peak period from South to North of Taiwan!

We are only allowed to enter the gate only about 30minutes (if i didn't remember wrongly) before departure time else the gate will not accept your ticket..
They actually wipe the small tables, handles of seats and change the head rest "sheet" every trip!

Appoint arriving Taipei.. We do not need to get the Easy Card (Card for travelling Bus/MRT as we already bought one last March..) We took the MRT to XiMen Station.. This time round we chose LiLai Hotel which is in XiMenTing area.. About 5-10minutes walk from an exit of MRT Station..
The room is alittle bad but for the rate we paid and its good location.. Its alright!
After settling down, we went to ZhongXiaoFuXing to take free shuttle bus to the MuZha Zoo as they are testing the new MRT line on weekends else MRT can reach MuZha Zoo Station.. Its also kinds of sad that we didn't get to ride MaoKong (Cable Car).. Before we took the free shuttle bus.. We went to the mall to grab a lunch..

I actually fall alseep in the bus and a funny incident happened on Dan.. Hahaha~ The entrance fee to the zoo is about NT20 (Can'r really remember but can use Easy Card to pay for it..)

This is a monkey but it looks weird..
First sight of this spike pig is okay BUT the longer you look at it.. The weirdier you find!

We left the zoo and took a bus to PingXi where you can put sky lantern.. February will be the peak period of putting it.. The journery is quite long (about 1-2 hours or so).. Fall asleep inbetween.. And its pitch dark at about 7pm! The road up is a bit steep and its quite cold (can sense the temperature outside while in the bus..) Anyway we made it!

Its a amazing experience! One sky lantern cost NT100 (SGD$5).. The seller will teach and assist you how to put it up.. I will post a video after i finished posting all the 14 days of this trip..
While waiting for bus to go back.. We called a few friends.. MunSang, Ham & Chia.. George didn't pick up his phone so we text him..
There is a mini balcony in the room but the textile floor is kinda of sticky and dusty.. Oh ya.. We bought KFC for dinner!
While Dan is taking a bath.. I took a few photos from the hotel's balcony.. The photos look abit blur but actually its because there is a green net covering the window..
