The airport operates differently.. They require people to have a scan of the luggage before entering..
I bought a cabin luggage and there are bottles ointments which we planned to check in the luggage but we only took up the handcarry plan so it cost us about SGD60! And they accept any form of payment other than Thai Baht which we already ran out!
Mental note: At least one of us must take up the "checked in luggage" plan! Despite of the facilitate fee!
