[26/09/2013] - Taiwan, Taipei Day 1

Now Jetstar even weighs our handcarrys.

Thank you lady for reminding about the liquids, i might sound abit unintentionally frustrated but i purely wants to save your breathe as i know it's not an easy job.

My all times favourites pre-flight breakfast, Burger King is under renovation so we go for the Singapore-styled breakfast

Always saw friends taking photo whenever they travel. Never noticed it until mum did.

It has been years mum took a plane and her first with budget airline. For me, thankful for Jetstar for making flights affordable

Just when we are going to alight, mum said she hasn't took a photo inside the plane. So i quickly take out my camera and snap.

The newly renovated Terminal 1

Off to TaoYuan HSR Station via bus.

My mum fall in love with the oden.

Mum is so hungry but i want to take a photo! =P

After check in, we took a mrt to Five Dime restaurant.

How many chances you get to see an airport terminal so closely?

We went too late, it's closed until dinner time.
Met my Taiwanese friend, Doggy to pass her something while we grab a quick lunch at Miramar Shopping Centre.

After that we went to Wu Fen Pu for mum to shop and helped my SIL to shop via skype video conferencing/whatsapp.

Then to my favourite night market, Rao He.
The temple next to it. I remember on some occasion they have magnificent view- red lanterns hanging above the road.

Not very nice.

My must-have handroll. I always opt for veggies instead of rice so i can have more delicacies.

We only managed to walk one side of the nigh market. Too exhausted.

My another must-have from Rao He - Smelly Tofu.

Omelette.

View from the hotel room. Today marks the 33rd day "living in Taiwan". Moving around seems so at "home" despite the changes here are big!
