06-08-2009 - Ernest's First Birthday Celebration

As most of us live in flat so normally its not spacious enough to invite friends over for celebration at home so what we commonly do is to book a chalet (since Singapore is not that big) for a night or two and invite friends and relatives over to hangout for an evening..

As Ernest's birthday falls on the 12th but 9th is Singapore's birthday so Irene decided to bring forward the celebration..

Let's get started~

I'm standing in front of the newly installed lift.. There is a badminton court nearby, a stage (behind the playground) and an outdoor gym in the background (not photographed)

As instructed, we reached Irene's mum flat at 2.30pm to help out and wait for Irene's hubby to fetch us.. Irene's mum is whipping some dishes and i help to relief Irene's sister by snuggling, carrying and entertain the birthday boy Ernest..

This is so cute! But sad to say my 1.5 years old A550 cant keep up with this soon-to-be 1 year old boy..

This little boy is like a koala bear.. He is absolute not a shy boy.. He likes to be pick up.. And if you think putting him in your laps is just fine then you are wrong.. You have to walk him around.. Curious little boy filled with LOTS of ENERGY..

After a bath and getting ready to go out..

With a warm weather and this boy is teething (he loves to bite off his pacificer and sucks his thumb) therefore even after a clean bath and clothes.. He gets his shirt and mine wet after a while..

And after much delay.. we finally set off..

After hanging around and most guests arrived.. The cake cutting ceremony started..

Ben said this is their first family portrait of 4..

Finally i get the big sister, Queenie..

Chill out in the bedroom despite the air conditioner is NOT STRONG enough!

Big uncle bought an electronic piano for the birthday boy..
